Awards:

Blue White Chenin Blanc 1997:

Blue White was the only South African Chenin to be awarded a medal at the International Wine and Spirit Competition in 1997. This vintage was also adjudged the best Chenin Blanc by South Africa's leading tasting panel, Wine-of-the-Month Club (WOTMC) last year, beating 41 entries from a line up that included highly rated Chenin Blancs from the 1998 to 2000 vintages. It was the oldest wine on the tasting. It has also been awarded four stars in the annual John Platter Wine Guide and this year, was also awarded 4 stars in the annual Chenin Blanc Challenge of WINE magazine --- one of only six wines out of 85.

Old Vines Cheinin Blanc 1998:

Old Vines Chenin Blanc 1998 has received much acclaim, being recently rated among the top 100 wines imported into Germany by Der Feinschmecker magazine (Jan 2001). The wine was also the winner this year in the Chenin Blanc category of the WOTMC, being rated as best unwooded Chenin out of 17. The 1998 was again the oldest wine on the tasting.

Our wines are generally recognised as being among South Africas's top Chenins.
